About Peter SANCHEZ
I hung up my lab coat to study the art of being human.
I spent years in biological research, including time at the Stanford School of Medicine, trying to understand how life works at the most granular level. I was fascinated by the systems that keep us alive.
But while I was busy studying life under a microscope, my own life was becoming a blur.
I was “successful” by traditional standards, but I was burning out. My health was secondary, my finances were a source of stress, and my relationships were getting the “leftovers” of my energy. I had all the data, but zero Clarity.
In 2021, I left the lab to work for myself. I thought freedom would bring clarity. It didn’t. It just gave me more choices… and more ways to get stuck.
So, I’m going back into the lab. But this time, the specimen is my own life.
I am no longer a research scientist; I am a Student of Clarity.
I am applying the same scientific rigor I used at Stanford to the most fundamental question we all face: How do we figure out what actually matters?
My hypothesis is simple: You’ll never stay stuck if you know what matters.
In this newsletter, I’m sharing my field notes. No “guru” advice. No “hacks.” Just the principles, building blocks, and frameworks I’m discovering as I try to build a life of intention.
Join me in the lab. Let’s find some clarity.
